Craig Carson - Head Coach
After a lengthy break from USA Swimming, Coach Carson joined the SeaWolves coaching staff during the summer of 2010, bringing over 40 years of coaching experience to the program. He was a USA Swimming coach for 18 years before starting Carson Swim School in Brentwood in 1985. He took the Amberjacks, Danville, CA (now part of SRVLA) from less than 50 swimmers to well over 125 in four short years. While with the Amberjacks, the team had 39 national top 16 times (including a #1 relay) and four individuals making Jr. National time standards as 13 and 14 year olds. He left the Amberjacks and founded the Delta Waves, Antioch, CA in 1982 and during the next six years enjoyed much success with more Jr. National Qualifiers and high school All Americans. Craig served three years on the board of directors for the Pacific Swimming Coaches Association and was selected as Pacific Swimming age group coach of the year in 1987. Over the past 30+ years Craig has coached four different high school programs to both boys and girls league championships (Red Bluff HS, Antioch HS, Deer Valley HS and Heritage HS) and Red Bluff HS to a CIF Sectional Championship. Along the way he has developed and worked with dozens of high school All Americans. He currently is a full time teacher and coach at Heritage high school. Coach Carson has had a passion for swimming since first teaching swimming lessons at the Walnut Creek Rec. Department. He then became a recreational swim coach at Scottsdale Swim Club in Walnut Creek, then head coach at Rancho Colorados in Lafayette and Meadow Pool in Orinda. Coach Carson led Rancho and Meadow to top three finishes at the County Meet Championships. The swim lesson program at Carson Swim School has taught over 30,000 swimmers how to swim over the past 25 years. Craig recently served a three year term as a Board of Director for the United States Swim School Association (350+ swim school members) and is a membership of the Championship Club (top 10% of swim schools in the US). The school has been selected by the Brentwood Press as #1 for the "Best Swimming Lessons" every year since 2003. Pam Araujo - Coach
Pam Araujo joined the SeaWolves coaching staff for the 2008 fall season swim program. We are very happy that Coach Pam decided to continue coaching as a member of our year round SeaWolves staff. Pam started swimming competitively at the age of six for the Santa Cruz Aquatic Team. She continued swimming for Cabrillo College and in 1995 she swam Masters Nationals. The SeaWolves Board and coaching staff have welcomed her back to USA Swimming where she had started her coaching career working with Chris Danesi many years ago. Pam coached for the Terrapins age group from 1993-2000 and coached the Masters Program from 1993-1995. In 2004 Pam became the co-head coach for the Dolphins swim team in Brentwood where she coached until the 2009 season. Kurt Roessler - Polo Coach
Kurt Roessler joined the SeaWolves during the 2009 summer polo

years and has had great success. His playing experience goes back to
Cupertino High School and then onto college at San Jose

Tony is new to the area and has been brought on to assist with our water polo programs. His experience includes more than 15 years as a swim coach, which includes Recreational, High School, and USS teams. Most recently he was an age group coach with the Concord Terrapins, and the Head coach at Concord high school. He also helped coach the Clayton Valley swim team to an NCS Men's team championship in 1999. Tony also has more than 10 years of experience coaching water polo around the area. He is coming to us after a very successful season as the Concord High School women's coach. Tony has also coached men and women at Clayton Valley, Piedmont, and Granite Bay high schools. 7 of the 9 high school water polo teams he has coached in the area have received NCS births. His USA Water Polo experience was as the team Director and Head Coach for the Concord Terrapins Junior and High school programs over the past 4 years. Recently he and his family have relocated to the Brentwood area and he is excited to bring all of his experience to help Water Polo and Swimming grow in East Contra Costa County. Nick Araujo - Polo Coach

polo season and continues to be instrumental in the growth of the club
as an assistant coach. He will be coaching the junior players, both boys
and girls, and provide assistance to the senior programs. Nick will also
be responsible for scheduling and organizing the club tournament
schedule and other game related activities. Nick brings to the club a
solid knowledge of the game and has a great grasp of the technical
aspects of water polo. He is currently the junior varsity coach at
