Introduction to Competitive Swimming Group - $85 per month(45 min)
Swimmers must be able to swim one full length of the pool in both freestyle and backstroke. This group is designed to get swimmers legal in all four strokes so they can advance to the age group level group. The focus is primarily on developing a strong foundation in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle, along with teaching the basics for competition starts and turns. Practice is four days per week, Monday through Thursday. Monthly swim meet attendance is encouraged on an individual basis.
Age Group – $95 per month (10 & under, 1 hour)
The age group practice focuses on proficient stroke mechanics and balance in the four competitive strokes, along with fine tuning starts and turns. Swimmers will learn various stroke drills, how to read pace clock and interval training concepts. Practice is five days per week, Monday through Friday. Swimmers are expected to attend practice regularly and participate in team meets.
Bronze Group - (Former Advanced Age Group) – $135 per month (9 & up, 1 ½ hours)
The bronze group practice involves an increased level of training in all four competitive strokes with a continual emphasis on proper stroke technique. Dry land core training and stretching are introduced. Practice is five days per week, Monday through Friday. Swimmers are expected to attend practice regularly to participate in team meets.
Silver and Gold Group - (Former Senior Dev. Group) – $170 per month(11 & up, 2 hours)
This training group consists of highly motivated middle/high school aged swimmers. Practices are geared toward a higher level of training intensity along with a strong focus on efficient stroke mechanics. Nutrition, core strength training and mental strategies will be introduced. Consistent practice attendance is expected as well as meet participation. Practice is five days per week, Monday through Friday plus Saturday when not competing.
Senior Group - (Former Senior Group) – $185 per month(11 & up, 2 hours)
This is our top level group. Swimmers must be physically and mentally prepared to train with a more strenuous workout schedule (5 - 6 days per week) along with dry land training and stretching (2-3 times a week) and morning practices. Dry land days will vary each week depending on pool useage conflicts and Saturday practices. This group consists of advanced middle school age swimmers and high school swimmers who are committed to the sport. Practice is five days per week, Monday through Friday plus Saturday when not competing.
