Wolf Pack

The SeaWolves currently offer the following practice groups. Read the description of the groups below. Typically your swimmer must be able to swim 25 yards (length of the pool) without stopping to join the team. The coaching staff will be assessing your swimmer's skill level during the first few practices. At the coaches discretion, your swimmer may be moved to another group based on their ability.

Gold PackGOLD Pack - A Group

Practices range from 5000 to 6500 yards. This group will practice 5 days per week for a two-hour swimming practice and a half an hour “dry land practice”. This group consists mainly of swimmers who have JO times or Far Western times. Typical ages in this group range from 12 to 18. Currently the highest level offered by the SeaWolves.

Gold PackGOLD Pack - B Group

Generally performs 3000 to 4500 yards in a single practice. Will participate in 5 two-hour practices per week, all of them being in the PM. This group generally needs to work on technique and endurance. Ages ranging between 8 and 13 usually participate in this group. This is the lowest level of the groups that practice for two hours a day.

Silver PackSILVER Pack

Participates in 5 one-hour practices per week. This group is designed for new swimmers who have very little knowledge of swimming technique or all of the strokes. This group will mainly work on drills and focus on technique during their practices. Typical ages in this group range from 7 to 11.

Tier 1
  • Must have knowledge of all 4 strokes. Needs work on starts, turns, finishes, drills, mastery of all 4 strokes and general stamina.
Tier 2
  • Only has knowledge of 1 or more strokes. Needs work on starts, turns, finishes, drills, mastery of all 4 strokes and general stamina.

Cub PackCUB Pack

3 to 5 forty-five-minute practices per week depending on seasonal program. This group is designed for swimmers who are 6 years of age and under. Average practices will teach knowledge of all four strokes.
