About Splashball

Splashball is Disney-endorsed program designed as an introduction to the game of water polo for children ages 5-9. Our objective is to teach basic polo skills and understanding of the game while spending a significant amount of time playing water polo with "adjusted" rules. We call this the FUN factor!  Players can catch the ball with 2 hands, ride noodles while playing, and games are played in a no-contact environment in the shallow end of the pool.

Participants will also develop water safety skills, build endurance and muscle tone, cultivate a healthy attitude toward fitness, make new friends, AND HAVE FUN!

Early childhood is a time for physical development, experimentation and skill building. Muscle skill development and maintaining a healthy body and lifestyle are important factors in future academic success. When children are young, it's important that they engage in activities that strengthen their bodies, minds and social skills. Splashball has two levels of focus: water safety and swimming skills along with the introduction of beginning water polo skills in a format that encourages kids to have fun and learn at a pace that is right for them [courtesy of USA Water Polo].
